TIPS FOR SWIMMING OR LIFE
Three major components of swimming: Technique, technique and technique!
- The mind is what directs the body!
- Try to have excellent performance and not the maximum!
- Learn to balance first, to align and stabilize your body in the water. All others will be easier!
- Search how to reduce water resistance (for better water slides).
- Search how to take advantage of water resistance!
- To be able to swim comfortably and easily need great effort!
- [Hear] the water, feel the water, become one with water. Swim [quiet]
- As hard as you practice that’s how hard you will be able to race!
- Exercise does not lead to perfection! The correct practice makes perfect. That you do in training is what will determine your path in racing games!
- The fastest swimmers are the ones who know how to swim too slow!
- You have the maximum speed when you are starting and when you push the wall at a turn. Take advantage of it!
- When you swim, Swim with water as an ally, do not [hit] it with the movement but slide on it gently. Try to feel your body, on the water [higher] than it really is!
- Do not think that you push water. Learn to support yor forearms, wrists and palms on it.
- The driving force is generated by the buttocks and the trunk of the body. Use your hands to restore and to give more speed to the body.
- You must learn to feel relaxed!
- Never look back!
- Attack at your race!
- Swim smart, use your mind and hold your head steady!
- Imagine yourself to succeed your goals but also to exceed them!
Always acknowledge and to congratulate your opponents. This will make you faster and better athlete!
